Job Description

The One Group are proud to be working with an industry leader in the field of technical communications in Cambridge and they are on the hunt for a Financial Accountant.This role offers a nice blend of management and finance accounting with responsibilities for monthly management account packages, stock and variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations as well as technical and statutory accounting.Youll take a key role in writing and improving the companies accounting policies and documentation and making sure they are implemented properly.Being a technical communications manufacturer R&D makes up a large part of their business so responsibilities will also include developing R&D project reporting as well as assisting the Compliance Manager on HMRC tax policy under IFRS frameworks. Youll beattending monthly and quarterly R&D meetings to keep up to date on all projects in the implementation phase.Owing to the technical nature of the role it will be well suited to a first time mover from a large audit background with a preference for those who are ACA qualified.The role will offer you the opportunity to get out from your desk and liaise with numerous colleagues across the whole business and the well-established finance team are structured in a way that will allow good career progression.Please contact Scott Park at The One Group a for a confidential discussion about the role.
