Job Description

The Recruitment Co. is currently recruiting for A Maintenance Scheduler & Stores Coordinator to join our clients growing team that work within the automotive industry based in the Llanelli area.Contract: PermanentSalary: £30,000-£32,000Hours of work: Full time 39 hours: Additional hours will be required when neededThe successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and scheduling for maintenance TPM and resultant work. Scheduling and planning of compressor and plant cooling system maintenance, coordination of statutory and mandatory inspection internal andexternal. Stores coordination of spare parts.Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Coordinating Maintenance TPM plan via Pirana CMMS. Liaising with production planning to achieve 100% maintenance TPM adherence.
  • Planning and coordination of all follow on, Statutory and mandatory inspection and preventive VA work.
  • Pirana CMMS data analyst reporting to include monthly KPI data, root cause interrogation and asset historical data.
  • Organising and coordination of shiftly planned work via shift supervisors for all maintenance trades
  • Ensuring correct spares are available to carry out planned maintenance activities.
  • Daily interrogation of Pirana CMMS reports to ensure 100% adherence from all maintenance persons
  • Flexible approach to support business requirements
  • Attend meetings with internal and external customers
  • Being responsible for ensuring health and safety requirements and standards are maintained
  • Maintain an excellent attendance and timekeeping record, striving to achieve zero levels of absence.
  • Contribute to improvement ideas and make suggestions as appropriate for improvement and business cost savings.
  • Ensuring stores stock levels are maintained within min and max levels.
  • Continuous improvement of the maintenance stores system.
  • Direct supervision of maintenance stores persons including, holidays, T&A, Appraisals
Key Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a similar role
  • To be aware of companys procedures and follow them accordingly, specifically ensuring that Health & Safety is of paramount importance
  • Maintenance experience as a tradesperson or supervisor
  • Experience of working within a stores department in a manufacturing environment
Aptitude - Key abilities to be demonstrated:
  • Reliable with strong leadership skills
  • A proactive approach to change with an ability to develop subordinates.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Knowledge / Experience:
  • Mechanical / electrical experience
  • Functional Maths and English skills.
  • Ability to hit deadlines/targets to ensure maintenance KPI are met.
  • Ability to plan and organise efficiently
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to solve problems while offering original and practical solutions that challenge fixed ideas.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the business.
