We have an exciting opportunity to join a new team at Skills for People, working in new ways, to ensure children / young people who have a learning disability, or are autistic receive the right support, when their mental health means they are at risk ofhospital admission; and to support their families.Hours: negotiable (Full time and part time available). Secondment welcome.Salary: £24,799 p.a. pro rataHome based. Travel within Tyneside, Northumberland, Sunderland, with some attendance at offices in Newcastle upon Tyne.Duration: 31 March 2023 initially, may be extendedAbout you:You will feel passionate about the rights of children, young people and their families; and enjoy working closely with them to ensure they get the support they need. You will need an understanding of education, health and care services, relevant law andguidance, and feel confident about liaising with a wide range of colleagues. You will be comfortable working face to face and virtually. Closing date for applications: 15th April 2022 at 12 noon.
