In order to meet the needs of their ever growing workforce, theyare recruiting for a Junior Payroll Assistant to join their existing team. This is a great opportunity for a motivated and switched on candidate to gain skills or further develop their career within Payroll.Your New Role as the Junior Payroll Assistant:As the Junior Payroll Assistant you will assist with the processing of weekly and monthly payrolls. As it stands there are circa 800 people on the payroll, 300 weekly and 500 monthly. In addition, you will be:--Updating employee payroll details including setting up new starters and leavers- Dealing with tax code notification changes- Actioning employee salary sacrifices requests ensuing NMW isnt breached- Administrating pension schemes- General finance tasks as a whole assisting the department where required.Ideally my Client would like the candidate to have some payroll experience, but it is not absolutely necessary as full training will be provided.Experience & Qualifications Required to Apply:To be considered, you must be have impeccable attention to detail skills, intermediate Excel capabilities and excellent communication abilities. In addition, you will be capable of problem solving, possess analytical skills and capable of working well underpressure. You must be able to demonstrate that you are well-organised, able to work to strict deadlines and able to to discrete when required.Salary and Reward on Offer:Competitive salary being officered along with benefits such as 25 days annual leave (plus statutory), and an option to join the company pension when eligible5% employee contribution and 5% employer contribution offered.
