Job Description

Claims Advisor - £20,000 + Bonus - Burscough My client, a specialist claims management company are looking to recruit a Customer Claims Handler to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for those wanting to join a growing organization where you can progress.An excellent Basic salary is on offer plus Bonus. Working hours are on a 2 week shift basis, 8am-4pm & 11am-7pm Monday to Friday + 1 weekend day per month, with a day off in the week.As a Claims Advisor, youll typically need to:

  • Provide advice on making a claim and the processes involved
  • Process new claims notifications
  • Collect accurate information and documents to proceed with a claim
  • Analyse a claim made by the Client to establish whether it satisfies the policy conditions
  • Guide clients on how to proceed with the claim
  • Identify reasons why claims may not be accepted
  • Explain to clients when their claim is not covered
  • Contact garages, Business Development Managers, Third Parties
  • Monitor the progress of a claim
  • Investigate potentially fraudulent claims
  • Liaise with solicitors, as well as other legal and claims professionals
  • Follow all processes and procedures whilst hitting all KPI figures
  • Ensure the client is treated fairly and that the customer receives excellent service in accordance with industry and company guidelines
  • Handle any complaints associated with a claim
  • Manage all administration aspects of the claim
  • Adhere to legal requirements, industry regulations and customer quality standards set by the company
