Murray Myers are very pleased to be assisting their client, an engineering business with the recruitment of a key member of staff in their development and growth.Job Title: Senior Project Manager - ConstructionLocation: Home Based with visits to Head Office in BurntwoodThey are a medium-sized business specializing in the installation and construction of plant and machinery within the food manufacturing environment. As a pivotal player in the industry, we are seeking a Senior Project Manager with a strong background ingeneral construction and hands-on experience, capable of leading projects from conception to completion.Qualifications:Proven experience in general constructionQualifications in health and safetyConstruction supervisor/site manager certificationKey Responsibilities:Manage site operations and oversee installations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budgetEffectively manage and coordinate sub-contractors to ensure seamless collaborationConduct site visits, including costings and surveys, to inform project planning and executionGenerate accurate costings for jobs and produce detailed drawings for layoutsHands-on involvement in installation work, particularly during weekendsWillingness to work away from home (pre-planned) with nationwide travel, with accommodation and expenses covered by the companyWorking Arrangements:Home-Based and Agile working options availableRegular visits to Head Office in Burntwood required (accommodation provided if not local)Desired Experience and Skills:Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment (desirable but not essential)Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels3-5 years of experience in sub-contractor management and site managementSalary Range: £45,000 - £50,000Benefits:Comprehensive health and safety trainingOpportunities for career advancement - Potential progression to Deputy MD Competitive salary with performance-based bonusesTravel, accommodation, and expenses covered for work-related tripsHome-Based and Agile working optionsIf you are a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager looking to take on a challenging role within a growing company, apply today.
