The Merlin Partnership is looking for a Marketing Manager to join our UK based team in the Midlands to support the growth of the brand in line with our 2030 strategic plan.The business provides Motorcycle apparel in the areas of Jackets, Trousers, Boots,Gloves, Denim, Luggage and Riding Essentials and whilst a young brand has grown strongly and is present in most regions around the World to include a US subsidiary covering North America.Whilst Merlin is a fast growing brand it is still a small, young teamand therefore whilst this role requires strategic skills it will be a very hands on role where often the individual will have to personally see projects and tasks from origination to completion.About the company:Merlin is a motorcycle clothing brand founded in 2011 by experienced senior executives in the motorcycle market. Merlin is a well-managed, well respected brand in the motorcycle market.The brand is built around four strategic pillars: protection in motion, progressive innovation, to be a benchmark brand for the best standardwithin the industry, and being a great place to work and a great way to live.About the CandidateThe successful candidate will be an experienced brand/product based practitioner, ideally from a Motorcycle or Motorsport background.You will be experienced and highly competent in messaging and communication, able with ease to understand the positioningof brand assets and storytelling.This is achieved by understanding the domestic and international competitive landscape, our competitors, their products, their positioning and from this build our messaging and communication.For the right candidate this role becomes a lifestyle extension where personal interests and motivations are lived through the role, the products, the brand, the influencers, the industry and the consumer and to achieve this the successful candidate willbe high energy, a strong/positive communicator and is a strong project originator/finisher.Digital is a significant part of Merlin Worldwide and a channel our teams have competitive advantage in so our Marketing Manager will have a natural reach for digital and its composites to include SEO, CMS, web analytics and social networks.Key Responsibilities:
