Job Description

Graduate Quantity Surveyor - Required for our client how are a family-owned civil engineering Contractor and contribute to high-value projects ranging up to £50m based in Staffordshire. The Graduate Contractor Quantity Surveyorwill be academically astute in mathematics. The Graduate Quantity Surveyor will join a company that are part of a larger group who have an internal Training Academy.Graduate Quantity Surveyor Position Overview

  • Support and/or manage residential Roads/Sewer and Groundwork sites in the Midlands.
  • Build and maintain client relationships.
  • Conduct timely valuations and process payments to the supply chain.
  • Identifying, valuing and agreement of any variations from drawing design changes and incidental type works requested on site.
  • Analyse budgets and ensure compliance with contracted responsibilities.
  • Production of monthly profit & loss reporting
Graduate Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Maths / Statistics / Economics or a Construction / Commercial discipline
  • Mathematics qualification at GCSE (minimum grade 6) or A-Level (minimum grade B)
  • Full right to work in the UK (unfortunately our client does not accept a post Graduate Visa)
  • Experience in Quantity Surveyor role as part of internship or
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Full Driving Licence
Graduate Quantity Surveyor Position Remuneration
  • Salary £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
  • 25 days Holiday + BH
  • 15% discretionary bonus
  • Training and development via an Academy
  • Pension contributions: employer: 7% employee: 1%,
  • Private medical insurance, healthcare cash plan etc.
