Job Description

Zenith People are working with our client who are looking to recruit an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager on a permanent basis.The main purpose of the role is to safely coordinate and continuously improve the packing centre & internal logistics to meet the customer expectations for compliance, quality, cost & delivery.Other Duties:-

  • Ensure Customer compliance is management and maintained to meet BRC standards
  • Carrying out Risk Assessments and ensuring they are reviewed after near miss accidents
  • Update team with all Health & Safety & relevant industry compliance and legislation
  • Carrying out incident investigations & collating data
  • Ensuring all team members follow H&S and compliance
  • Installing of 5s s a way of life whilst delivering safe & efficient workplace with excellent housekeeping standards
  • Carry out employee appraisals to the agreed time-scales and processes
  • Support recruitment and induction activities in conjunction with the area manager & HR
  • Develop & use quantifiable performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Performance Monitoring of all suppliers, including external producers
  • Recording, investigating and monitoring customer complaints
  • Motivate & train all staff
  • Management of business issues log
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:· Broad experience working in packing centres & logistics Operations & Production & logistics processes (FMCG)· Knowledge of working with Continuous improvement tools and techniques (5s)· Demonstrable change management experience and of effectively managing a team.· Relevant Health, Safety & Compliance legislation understanding.· Broad experience and understanding of Audit Compliance· Relevant Quality & Compliance qualifications advantageousQUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS REQUIRED· Broad experience packing centre & logistics operations or similar. Knowledge and past experience of BRC Standards· Working knowledge of lean concepts, tools, methodology or other comparable continuous improvement programs· Strong hands-on mentality and organisational skills· Broad experience of audit/compliance of all aspects of this or a similar businessIf you are an experienced Quality & Compliance Manager with experience in Production & logistics processes and would like to be considered for this role please click apply now.
