Job Title: Stores OperativeResponsible to: Operations ManagerDescription:An excellent opportunity to join an innovative business, creating ground breaking digitally controlled analogue audio technology, supplying clients world-wide. This role will involve being part of a team of creative individuals to assist in delivering thebest audio consoles and maintaining high quality manufacturing. The ability to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment and with a keen eye for detail is key to this role. Common sense and flexibility is a must.Main Responsibilities:To maintain stores within a busy SMT departmentTo prepare or seek preparation of materials and kitting aids prior to job assemblyKitting of SMT parts and setting up the feeders/trolliesSetting up and de-kitting of the Surface Mount MachinesPerforming to a schedule from a planned production outputTo ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are always maintainedTo assist in the department as instructed by the production supervisorTo assist in other departments when requiredThe Ideal Candidate:Keen eye for detailMust be able to use computer databases e.g. excelAbility to keep control of stock through a thorough booking in and out processKnowledge of SMT would be an advantage but not essentialBasic knowledge of electronics and PCBs would be idealAbility to work under pressure to meet production targetsRate of Pay:From £10.42 per hour dependent on experienceHours of Work:Mon - Thurs 7.50am-5.10pmFri- 7.50am-12.30pmBenefits:Free onsite parking
