Job Description

*12 MONTH FTC*I am delighted to be working with a global engineering firm in Burnley, BB11 who are looking to recruit a full-time Stores and Goods In Receiver for a period of 12 months to help with a major project they currently have. 40 hours per week, on-site.Your new role:

  • To process incoming and outgoing goods and ensure that the associated paperwork and systems are applied in accordance with the companys procedures.
  • To carry out any other tasks as reasonably required by management.
Stock Control:
  • Ensure all stock transactions are processed on the system in real time
  • Ensure all documents are filed and are readily available
  • Update any certifications relevant system / folder.
Stock Receipts:
  • Ensuring that delivered goods are inspected, recorded and put into the correct stores location, or elsewhere as appropriate. Notify any discrepancies found.
Kitting / Issuing of Materials / Components:
  • Processing stores requisitions for workshop and project demand.
  • Provide components and materials in line with production / PQT schedules
  • Replenish any line side items in the Workshop
Communication:
  • Liaising with all other departments on stock related issues where appropriate
  • Providing information and reports for line and operational managers as required
Work Experience Required:
  • Experience of working within a stores/warehouse type environment
Skills & Knowledge Required:
  • Literate/numerical
  • Computer Literate: Desirable: Microsoft Excel / Essential: SAP
  • Good communication skills
  • Able to work on own initiative or as a team player
