In addition, the organisation has been running a major SAP implementation project for the last five years and has embarked on a major Digital Transformation programme thisyear.To help drive this level of transformation across the organisation, a Solution Architect is sought to devise and implement information systems that will transform Exertis and improve customer and vendor satisfaction. This role will work closely with theChief Architect; IT Director, Service Operations; Head of IT Operations and the wider Technology Leadership Team in the development of the information systems.This role reports into the UK Chief Architect. The role holder will provide clear solution designs and be able to articulate to a variety of audiences (both technical and non-technical). The Solution Architect will work on specific projects including SAP(ERP, CRM, EWM & Hybris), BI, API & EDI and Web applications. The role requires a thorough understanding of the technologies that underpin Exertis systems and a broad, up-to-date technical knowledge including in areas such as SAP (ERP, CRM, EWM & Hybris),Integration, Azure, Office 365, API, EDI and SaaS and PaaS.The Solution Architect will be responsible for the technical aspects of IT projects and ensure that the solutions are designed and delivered inline with the Exertis IT Strategy. The Solution Architect will be a key member of the Architecture team and willbring their knowledge and experience to the team and help shape and influence the IT Strategy.Key Responsibilities:

• Design and document IT solutions for Exertis UK, as part of IT projects or as part of discovery exercise(s)
• Support IT projects from inception to delivery, by providing the IT solution, including assurance of IT Solutions
• Establish and maintain a set of architecture artefacts to provide a clear and concise view(s) of the IT landscape
• Being part of the Architecture team, collaborate and provide input into the IT Strategy, including roadmaps for achieving the future state of the IT landscape
• Work closely with internal stakeholders and business units to keep abreast of planned changes to technologies, working practices and business activities that could have an impact on Exertis IT landscape
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for the technical design and implementation of IT solutions and changes to existing solutions
• Capturing and documenting Non-functional requirements for IT projects, including security, reliability, performance, maintainability, scalability, and usability
• Building and maintaining key architecture artefacts that can be re-used for documenting change within the IT landscape
• Identifying key IT risks that Exertis are facing and input into risk remediation planning

Key Skills and Experience

• At least 5 years experience as a Solution Architect in a complex IT organisation, encompassing Service delivery; application development and IT Infrastructure
• At least 5 years experience with SAP (ERP, CRM, EWM & Hybris) across multiple business functions including, Sales and Distribution, Purchasing, Logistics, Finance, integration across SAP modules and Vistex.
• A track record in the design and delivery of IT projects across an organisation, including IT security being at the heart of the solutions
• Sound knowledge of IT security and experience of designing and building secure solutions that pass PEN testing and Vulnerability scanning
• Knowledge of TOGAF and architecture frameworks
• Good communication and negotiation skills with business and technical stakeholders and a demonstrable ability to build consensus amongst many stakeholders
• Ideally with experience with Azure platforms and other cloud-based customer platforms (SaaS and PaaS)
• Ideally with experience with the delivery of data analytic solutions
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Any experience of working as part of an agile/Scrum delivery team as a Solution Architect
