Summary The Hours: 37.5 hours per week,working 5 out of 7 days which will include weekends and public/ school holidays. We operate a staggered start shift pattern, starts can be 8am & 10am. Working days are 7.5 hours long. Our kitchen team is pivotal to its success. Our kitchen in the Court Yard Cafe has all the equipment youll need to deliver afood offering of quality. Youll be providing a grab and go offer for busy families as well hot menu offering delivered to our guests at their tables in the Cafe.Nostell isabeautiful place to call work, from the walled garden to the vegetable patch and beyond; the gardens at Nostell look beautiful whatever the season.Much of the house you see today was built as an ambitious statement by the Winn family between 1725-1785, Nostell is a showcase for elegant and fashionable design. It was created not simply as a home, but also to send out an important message about the familyswealth and social status. What youll be doing You will be working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, the role ofChef plays a core part in providing a fantastic food offer to our visitors. You will ideally enjoy preparing food from scratch using fresh/ seasonal ingredients andwill be confident with creating bakes and cakes, breads and cookies. You will be comfortable in following recipes from our Cook Book with accuracy, but will also relish the opportunity to work closely with our Food & Beverage Manager in creating local dishes,personal to the property to elevate our offer. Youll be based primarily at the production kitchen with all the equipment youd expect at your disposal. Its from here youll produce great food for our Cafe and grab and go Stables outlet.You will become part of friendly Food & Beverage department.You will not be required to work nights, split shifts and will be off on Christmas Day as the property is fully closed to the public.You will receive a bespoke induction on appointment and further professional training & development opportunities are available.Interviews: This is an immediate start, interviews will be held by appointment on receiving applications.
