Job Description

Housing Support Worker£14 Umbrella ph37.5 hours pwTemporary- PermanentBurnleyWe are currently working on behalf of a not-for-profit organisation, who is recruiting for a Housing Support Worker on a temporary - permanent basis. The role will be working in their Young Persons project in Burnley.Responsibilities of the Housing Support Worker includes:

  • Working within a young persons project in Burnley
  • Providing resettlement and housing management support
  • Encouraging independent living
  • Promoting tenancy sustainment
  • Assisting clients to maximise their income
  • Completing the induction process with new clients
  • Assisting with the access to training, education and employment opportunities
  • Signposting clients to other services within the community
  • Completing housing benefit, council tax and universal credit claims
  • Conducting risk and needs assessments
Requirements of the Housing Support Worker:
  • Enhanced DBS
  • Driver and access to a vehicle
