Job Description

CNC Press Operator We are currently recruiting for CNC Press Brake Operator based in the Burnley area. You will be working for a high profile sheet metal company and you will be working as part of the production team making sure performances are hit and safety processes are followed.As a CNC Press Operator you will need:

  • Set and operate amada press brakes,
  • Set up, program, and operate the CNC brake press to produce high quality products to drawing specifications.
  • Maintain programmes within the machine and deal with any errors
  • Reading customer specifications on drawings and quantities
    • DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Interpretation of drawings for programming of CNC brake press to enable the fabrication of sheet and folded components
  • Construct detailed multi-fold programs to develop parts to match drawings
  • Select the correct punches and dies for material spec/design radii and drawing requirements
  • Configure bend allowances for sheet metal (stainless, aluminium & regular steel)
  • Run bend and forming operations using standard and custom punches

  • Pay rate : £12.00 p/h
  • Working Hours: Mon- Thursday 7.30-16.30 Friday 7.30-12.30
  • Location: Burnley
  • Immediate Starts.
