Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.We are seeking a Training and Work-Based Learning Lead to take on responsibility for the overarching operational coordination of training delivery to a broad range of stakeholders; and SRUCs apprenticeships and other work-based learning and assessment.Key Duties will include: Advising and negotiating on changing service needs, strategic direction, operation of and setting performance goals for SRUCs training delivery, apprenticeships and other work-based learning. Writing, submitting and managing bids to Skills Development Scotland (SDS) for Modern Apprenticeship funding at SRUC (estimated value £1M+). Acting as SRUCs primary 1st point of contact for external agencies regarding training delivery, apprenticeships and other work-based learning. Creating and embedding a high quality customer focus environment for employers and candidates. Stimulating and servicing new business opportunities relating to training delivery, apprenticeships and other work-based learning. Working with the faculty Deans to coordinate the planning of budgets for training delivery, apprenticeships and other work-based learning across the faculties.To be considered for this role you should be experienced in the areas of managing training delivery/assessment and/or work-based learning and assessment, including coordination of delivery across multiple sites. Experience of contracting and working witha range of funding providers/clients and ensuring compliance with all contractual / audit requirements is also essential as is knowledge of education delivery methodologies appropriate to FE/HE (including E learning).Further details on the requirements of this role can be found in the Job Description document which you must read before applying for this role.
