Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Lecturer in Applied Production Animal Health and Welfare in the School of Veterinary Medicine based at the SRUC Aberdeen Campus. The main purpose of this post is to lead and manage the HNC/D in Rural AnimalHealth, a key gateway programme to our BVSci programme; however, input to the BVSci and other allied veterinary programmes may be required in line with the business needs of the school.Applications are invited from highly motivated individuals with significant experience (including practical) of the large animal industries, including the rural veterinary and agricultural sectors.Applicants with an interest in delivery of CPD or in possession of a PhD and research active/interests in areas allied to large animal health and welfare are particularly welcomed where you will have the opportunity to foster cross-disciplinary collaborationsand ambitions that will build on current strengths within the school, and across the institution.Informal enquiries can be made to Professor Peter Hastie, Head of Interprofessional Veterinary Education.Applications closing date: 14th August 2023What you will get in return
