We have a clear ambition to promote the resilience of our graduates to sustainably support the animals and rural communities at the heart of Scotland’s NaturalEconomy’.This key appointment will be accountable to the School Manager with the post holder responsible for providing veterinary clinical technical leadership and support for students and staff across the School of Veterinary Medicine. You will lead the technicalsupport team for clinical skills, as a member of the wider technical team.You will have at least an HND (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant discipline (e.g. veterinary medicine, veterinary nursing) with detailed clinical, technical and scientific knowledge and experience to interpret the clinical and technical requirementsof the programmes within the School.Key responsibilities are:Key responsibilities will be around leading (as line manager) the clinical skills technical team, for the effective planning, organising and prioritising activities required for clinical skills teaching sessions and supporting academic/clinical staff duringteaching sessions.Salary on appointment will be based on experience and qualifications.Informal enquiries to the Head of Interprofessional Veterinary Education (Peter Hastie) or the Head of Veterinary Education (Jim Anderson) are welcomed.Closing Date: 30 November 2023What you will get in return
