Programme Team Leader in Veterinary NursingAberdeen.£44,041 - £47,382 per annum SRUC is unique in Scotland and one of the largest organisations of its kind in Europe. Our ambitious and exciting vision is to work at local, national and international levels, leading innovation and sustainable development in agriculture and rural sectors.We are looking for an enthusiastic academic veterinary surgeon/professional to lead a highly respected Degree programme in Veterinary Nursing. Ideally, the successful applicant will be experienced in postgraduate delivery, combined with a drive to impact positively on today’s agricultural industry.The successful applicant will also ideally have a significant track record of research in a related field. SRUC is seeking a closer alignment of its research and education activities and it is hoped that the successful applicant will contribute to world class research carried out within SRUC in terms of grant income and publication output.The main purpose of this role is to work with the Head of Department and teaching team to develop and prepare for the delivery of a new BSc in Veterinary nursing at the Craibstone Campus. The successful candidate would also teach across the companion animal BSc, Animal care HNC/D and Rural animal health HNC/D, where appropriate.Main duties:
