Restaurant Supervisor (1 Year FTC)Wash Farm, Buckfastleigh, DevonMaternity Contract - 1 year. Our dishes are a showcase for the best seasonal veg available; we want our customers to experience new and different ways to eat veg and be inspired.We are looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor who is customer focused and will work hard to ensure that each experience at our venue exceeds expectation.The suitable candidate will have the communication skills and ability to communicate why we do what we do - our original style of food and the ethos of our dining service is key - whilst ensuring our guest experience is smooth, interesting and even educational!You will have experience of a supervisory role in a restaurant and be a natural at dealing with customers and a small team. Organisational skills are paramount and will incorporate daily diary management, creating seating plans, menu writing, Front of Housestaff training, communicating with guests via e-mail, online enquiries and on the telephone - all in a clear, concise and cheerful manner.An interest in farming and food provenance would also be a useful bonus - our guests have a lot of questions about our business be prepared to learn a lot of information you might not have required in previous restaurants!Skills & experience- Previous waiting and supervisory experience in reputable establishments- Experience of hosting/organising eventsSalary of £24,500 p.a. plus tronc plus company profit share - genuine 40 hr weekCo-owner benefitsRiverford is a beautiful place to work, with lots of great people - and other perks too.
