Application Support AnalystBuckfastleigh, UKLocation - Hybrid working available. What youll be doing. We have a suite of high quality internal-facing business systems which are undergoing improvement to support the rapid expansion of our successful business. Some of these systems have come from the market, whilst others are being developed by our talented engineeringteam.As an Application Support Analyst, you will have a technical mind, a practical problem-solving approach, and a strong desire to deliver excellent service to achieve customer satisfaction. You will regularly spend time with end users, so excellent communicationskills, and an ability to understand the users perspective is key.Your passion for learning and applying new skills will include areas such as SQL Server, application testing and deployment, warehouse management and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. You have a can-do attitude towards troubleshooting both hardwareand software issues, along with an appreciation of proactive systems monitoring through the effective configuration of tools such as PRTG and Datadog.Requirements. - You will be passionate about software, technology and using IT to solve problems- Be excited about finding the cause of a problem and working with teams to solve it effectively- Be skilled in management and troubleshooting SQL Server and IIS, applying patches, performing upgrades, configuration, and maintenance- Understand business processes within manufacturing, procurement, and finance systems- Data analysis, being able to recognise patterns, understanding common formats such as XML, being able to validate data to spot errors and manipulate data to test changes- Experience working with 3rd Party vendors to upgrade, enhance and support production systems, document and resolve issuesWere less concerned about specifics and decades of experience than we are about capability, ambition, and cultural fit. What are the hours 40 hours a week.
