Job Description

I am working with market leaders in the provision of surface treatment and special processes in the global aerospace and automobile industry and this organisation are currently recruiting a Key Account Manager.The Role will involve the creation and management of operational schedules, ensuring customer expectation and requirements remain at the core of the business. Full remit of sales order processing through to product dispatch, you will ensure the end-to-endprocess is completed in a timely manner, overseeing each responsibility whilst setting customer expectations on delivery, providing updates on issues, queries or delays. You will be at the forefront leading by example providing exceptional customer service,ensuring visibility to your colleagues and the wider business. The position will involve the manipulation of data, production of KPIs highlighting trends and improvements to senior management thus improving service.You will possess previous experience as an Account Manger within a fast-paced environment preferably Aerospace. Strong communication, influential skills are essential to the overall delivery of the position, both internally and externally at all levels.Self-belief in your abilities to achieve objectives, utilising all available resources to you ensuring clear delivery of customer product in line with specification and permissions. Experience holding difficult conversations. Demonstrate an ability to workwell under pressure, with autonomy and part of a team.They are seeking an ambitious, self-starter who is looking to develop within the business, grow and manage their own career whilst receiving all the tools necessary from the company to support, thus enabling career progressive opportunities.Suitable candidates will have/be able to demonstrate:

  • Account management experience with or for a Tier 1 or 2 aerospace customer.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages - intermediate/advanced level in excel.
  • Experience of using an MRP/ERP system.
  • Negotiation techniques and effective customer relationship building.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Ability to assimilate information from different sources to generate achievable plans.
  • KPI driven.
  • Fully flexible
