Credit Controller - BridgendTemporary to Permanent £10.00 - £10.65 Per Hour + Holiday PayMy client, a rapidly expanding organisation based in the Bridgend area, are seeking an experienced Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Clerk to join their team on a potential temporary to permanent basis.Reporting into the Credit Control Manager on a day to day basis, the successful applicant will be required to have previous experience of dealing with all accounts receivable general duties, including chasing payment of invoices, raising manual invoicesand allocating payments. The role requires a candidate who has had previous experience of the credit control and the sales ledger process (minimum 12 months) and ideally has exposure of working within a busy department.Responsibilities to include:Credit Control1) Issue monthly statements and overdue debt letters to clients2) Chasing debtors following company procedures3) Provide updates to the line manager on debtorsAccounts Receivable1) Processing receipts / raising the sales invoice in reference to paid application / daily allocation of cash2) Daily banking of cheques3) Monthly reconciliation of cash receivedAll applicants must possess strong communication skills and an excellent telephone manner. You will be methodical in approach, possess excellent numerical and communication skills and have the ability to work within a dynamic and fast paced environment.The successful candidate will be professional in approach and enjoy working as part of a close credit control team.The role will initially be office based, then longer-term there is the opportunity for hybrid working. Hours of work are Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm or 8.30am - 5.00pm, with on-site parking available.
