Job Description

Do you want to make a positive change in Social Workers lives and bring out the best in their work livesMaybe youre ready for a new challenge in a growing service.The rate of pay would be up to £41 per hour depending on your location and this may be negotiableResponsibilities of this role:

  • To provide a service to the front door (A&E).
  • To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team to provide advice, support and intervention aimed at preventing unnecessary admissions into the acute.
  • To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team in progressing discharges from the acute under the Hospital Discharge Service: Policy and Operating Model.
  • To work as part of the multi-disciplinary team, challenging health colleagues where necessary and ensuring the team work effectively and efficiently to progress discharges in a timely way; maintaining focus on the person at all times.
Reed are now offering a joining bonus of up to £250 for Qualified Social Workers. Terms apply.Requirements of the role:
  • Must be a Qualified Social Worker with management experience
  • Experienced social worker or OT who has experience of supervising and leading a team of social care staff, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Being able to support a service and managing all members to ensure that their work is of a consistently high standard.
