Assisting the Manager of the team, you wont be managing performance, but you will be providing asupervisory roleasthe"go to" person for any queries your colleagues havewhilstmanaging all general ledger journalsandensuring month end closing is completedwithin deadline.As anAssistantFinance Manageryour brand new role will involve:

Overseeing and being involved in sales ledger, purchase ledger and credit control
Processing monthly journals
Balancing trial balances and reconciling with analysis
Month end reporting
Bank statement reconciliations
VAT returns
Cost allocation analysis and control
Resolving any operation and financial process queries form the team

I am interesting in speaking to an accounts professional with experience as an AssistantFinance Manager,Finance Assistant, Finance Supervisor, Assistant Accounts Manager, Accounts Officer, or Part-qualified Accountantwho possessesproven hands on experience within the world of bookkeepingand accountingas well as being a minimumpart qualified (either ACCA or CIMA).Experience offinance / accounting systems (e.g. Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, Greentree) and Excelis key along withcost and revenue allocation, trial balance reconciliations and general ledger journals.This is an exciting Assistant Manager level opportunity for you tomould a newly created role and develop it as your own- making an impact and helping the Head of department to grow the accounting function of the business moving forward.Salary c. £30,000 to £35,000 p.a.
