Package Job Title: Catering Manager, Rykneld Primary SchoolHourly rate: £12.50 phLocation: Main Street, Branston, Burton on Trent, DE14 3EXContract Type: Permanent, Term Time onlyWeekly Hours: 30Start Date: ASAPAs the School Catering Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school kitchen, ensuring the provision of high-quality meals that meet the nutritional and dietary needs of the students.   • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in a school or institutional catering setting
  • Minimum of an NVQ in Cookery/Hospitality is preferred
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, and the ability to implement and maintain strict standards
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
  • To perform duties as directed by the Area Manager
  • Carry out stock takes and ordering products via the online portal
