Financial Planning Analyst (F,P & A)North HullTo £50,000 Chase & Holland are thrilled to be working with one of our well-established and progressive clients who are looking to recruit a driven Financial Planning Analyst (F,P &A) to join their successful finance team. This is an exciting newly created role, whereyou will have a real opportunity to make impact and to support with the future growth strategy and projects. Reporting directly into the Group Finance Director, they are looking for a strategically minded, dynamic and detail orientated Financial Planning Analyst (F,P &A) who wants to play a key role in the future success and rapid growth of the business. You willwork closely with and partner the Business Strategy Director on future expansions, acquisitions, and large scale projects. Salary & Benefits:

Financial Planning Analyst (F,P & A) duties include:

Ensure the strategic plan is measured against actualsanalysing any variances, highlighting any risks or opportunities
Support Divisional teams to develop operating and financial plans to achieve the overall business strategic plan
Detailed variance reportinganalysing actuals to budgets and rolling forecasts
Develop and provide insight and actionable analysis which challenges the business and aids key decision making
Review and develop the reporting, analytical and decision making tool kit to maximise revenue and profit
Financial modelling to review capital investment requests, business cases for major project opportunities, international expansion and M&As
Lead the annual budgeting and 5 year planning process, developing working models
Lead and drive ad-hoc projects and change management

Key requirements of the Financial Planning Analyst (F,P & A):

Technically CIMA, ACCA or ACCA Qualified Accountant or Finalist Stage Studier
Strong analytical, financial planning and modelling skillset
Ability to present financial information to non financial audience in a way they understand
Strategic thinker, inquisitive and detail orientated
Thrives within a busy and varied role
Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to board level
IFRS knowledge is ideal
