Consortium are pleased to represent a highly successful manufacture, who due to growth, are looking to recruit a CAD Designer. This is a critical role within the technical team and will suit a candidate with a good background in AutoCAD 2D design, whoalso wants to continue to progress.As a CAD Designer, you will be producing enquiry drawings for the sales team, including but not limited to layouts, elevations, and point load diagrams along with site plans.About the CAD Design role:You will prepare drawings using AutoCAD 2D. You will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality plan drawings. In this role, you will have the opportunity to attend factory project launch meetings as and when required. You will have many touch pointswith customers, internal departments including sale and production. Importantly you will also liaise with external sub-contractors.Other duties will include but not limited to:* Prepare production drawing and design information for issue to Production departments using AutoCAD* Assist in standardisation of existing drawing information.* Prepare site plans and logistics layouts* Ensure deadlines are met for each project* Maintain drawing standards as set out in the companies QA procedures* To prepare drawings and technical information for sales managers, production drawings for issue to the factory and site details for our operations teams* To liaise with clients (either by telephone/teams meetings & site visits etc.)About you:* AutoCAD experience required* Good communication skills* Possess Good IT Skills* Good Planning SkillsWhats on offerThe client is offering a salary up to £45,00 annually, 25 days annual leave, enhanced pension, and bonus scheme as well as fantastic opportunities to progress.
