Job Description

Semi-Skilled Modular Joinery Operatives (Nights) x 10Yorkshire and Humber areaVenatu Recruitment Group are happy to be working with our client as they are one of the UKs leading suppliers of Modular Building Solutions , offering exceptional service, innovative products and an unrivalled build quality across hire and sale industries.Working alongside the worlds biggest construction companies on some of the countrys most prestigious projects, they have a proven track record in delivering a high standard of modular buildings quickly and efficiently across many market sectors.The business has just secured more multi million pound contracts and therfore are looking to increase on their production facility within the next 1 to 2 weeks on a regular night shift.Job Duties:

  • Assisting skilled Joinery Operatives in the fitting of relevant components of the buildings to create a quality finished product. (fitting of windows, doors, architraves, and joinery work as required)
  • Preparing for refurbishment of building by dismantling old or damaged materials for replacement.
  • Use of hand-held power tools in an approved manner
  • Ensure that all work is of a quality level as prescribed
  • Be responsible for ensuring a clean and tidy work area
  • Responsible for basic health and safety standards within the workplace

  • Can work as part of a team
  • Can work unsupervised
  • Punctual and a hard worker
  • Ideally Modular experience
  • Able to handle manual work that at times can be of a strenuous nature
  • Own basic tools essential
    • Skills and Knowledge :
  • Preferably NVQ Level 2 in Construction Practices although thsi is not essential
  • General construction skills/experience of 1 to 5 years
