Job Description

Are you an experienced Part Time Bookkeeper, ideally with a background in an accountancy practice looking for a role of 20-25 hours a week Would you like to work with a great team in a well established and successful company close to Bolton towncentre If so, this could be the role for you. Along with a salary of £14,493 to £18,116 (pro rata based on £25,000 for 20-25 hours) the role comes with a pension scheme and free parking. Your role as a Part Time Bookkeeper:Working as a part of a small team, you will be providing bookkeeping assistance to a range of customers across the North West. Duties will include:

Providing accounting services to a varied selection of companies from sole traders to large SMEs
Dealing with accounts to trial balance
VAT returns
Reconciling accounts
Assisting with year end
Liaising with clients regarding any queries
The role will include occasional visits to customer sites

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Have recent experience in a similar Bookkeeper role in an accountancy practice
Accurate and numerate
Strong attention to detail
Good communication skills
Experience working with Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
Comfortable with Word and Excel
Able to commit to a part time role including working on a Friday
As well as part time, there is scope to work in a similar role on a full time basis
