Job Description

A large multinational with a successful local office covering the UK is looking for an experienced Internal Sales to join their existing team. They offer a salary of up to £24,000, a superb working environment and benefits including 25 days holiday,a bonus scheme based on individual performance, free parking and a pension. What will you be doing as an Internal Account Manager:Working in a busy office, you will be dealing with a variety of existing and lapsed customers as well as warm leads within their specialist sector. Duties will include:

  • Working closely with a variety of businesses across the UK regarding the supply of specialist products the customers require on an ongoing basis
  • Dealing with existing and lapsed customers as well as proactively calling new customers who have been in touch to request prices and products
  • Taking and processing orders
  • Creating and following up on quotes
  • Developing customer relationships to develop the business further
  • Liaising with head office regarding stock availability and product marketing
  • Calling new customers who have been in touch via the webiste to discuss their requirements and win the business
  • Following up on mailshots or leads to find out if a customer requires products
  • Liaising with field based reps as required
The role does not involve cold calling and involves working to team targets rather than working to team targets rather than an individual, targeted commission based role. We would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
  • Experience in a similar account manager, internal sales or sales administration role wouold be ideal although experience in another business to business phone based office role would also be considered
  • The most important thing is a passion to build career in a sales based environment
  • Experience in a technology based sector such as IT or electronics would be interesting
  • Youre comfortable using Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Youre highly organised with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Youre enthusiastic and resilient.

  • A salary of up £24,000 depending on experience
