Job Description

Are you an experienced Part Time Payroll Specialist, ideally with a background in an accountancy practice providing payroll services looking for a role of 20-25 hours a week Would you like to work with a great team in a well established and successfulcompany close to Bolton town centre If so, this could be the role for you. Along with a salary of £13,043 to £18,116 (pro rata based on £25,000 for 20-25 hours) the role comes with a pension scheme and free parking. Your role as a Payroll Specialist:Working as a part of a small team, you will be providing a full payroll service to a range of customers across the North West. Duties will include:

Providing payroll services to various companies across the region
Working on a mixture of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls
Working payroll from beginning to end
Dealing with all aspects of payroll including P45s, P60s, SSP, SMP, attachment of earnings
Sending payment details to clients via post and online methods
Liaising with clients regarding any queries
Maintaining the service planner and reporting any overdue servicing / maintenance activity
Completing and communicating accurate reports

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:

Have recent experience in a similar Payroll position, dealing with end to end payroll
Experience in a similar accountancy practice based payroll or payroll bureau role would definitely be beneficial
Accurate and numerate
Able to work to deadlines
Good communication skills
Comfortable with Word, Excel and some form of payroll software, ideally Sage Payroll
As well as full time, there is scope to work in a similar role on a Part Time basis
