Job Description

DevonHome Based/RemoteFlexible working schedule3 days a weekSalary - £21k p.a. pro rataDue to continued growth, a Devon-based Mortgage Brokerage is looking for a Mortgage Administrator to join the team. If you want to take on a varied and important role and support an innovative team focused on the customer experience, where you can expandupon existing knowledge and skillsthis could be the role youve been waiting for!About the role: This role is diverse and rewarding, youll be undertaking a range of duties. Such as:

  • Maintaining and updating records, ensuring accurate data input, and staying in line with confidentiality.
  • Liaising with providers, lenders, and clients for case progression and case placement.
  • Tracking new business, and updating with the Adviser accordingly.
  • Ensuring new business has been checked and signed off, where required.
  • Ensuring all necessary documentation is held within the client files, meeting FCA rules and regulations.
  • Entering new client information and fact finds details onto the database.
  • Preparing and sending authority letters.
  • Scanning documents, general administrative duties, handling a range of requests from advisers, clients, and providers.
  • Building rapport with colleagues, clients, and customers, establishing needs and providing an exceptional standard of service.
About you:You will be a team player, someone who wants to get involved and help out where you can. Youll be proactive, taking pride in all aspects of your work, and have a driven nature.The Essentials:
  • Experience in administration, ideally within financial services and/or the mortgage advise sector.
  • Knowledge of FCA regulations, a willingness to learn and keep up to date with regulatory changes.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, sound IT skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to build rapport both in person and over the telephone.
  • Appreciation for accuracy and detail when inputting data.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills.
