Job Description

Our client, based in West Yorkshire, is currently recruiting for a Recruitment Officer on a fixed term basis to provide expert knowledge on recruitment and new employee matters.The position is due to start immediately on a full time basis. The annual salary is £23,000, with additional benefits including 3 days working at home, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a generous pension scheme, health cash plan, family/child supportand other extra benefits included.The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in the sector, however this requirement can be flexible.Duties will include (but not limited to):

  • Work with the People Services Manager to ensure all recruitment campaigns are managed within agreed SLAs
  • Ensure a seamless recruitment campaign service and associated administration provision is delivered with a "right first time" approach
  • Manage own recruitment campaigns and oversee those of the Recruitment Team by prioritising taking into account capacity and volume of recruitment campaigns
  • Ensure that all contractual matters are managed within the relevant policies and legislation
  • Ensure all agency staff are processed in line with the Agency process efficiently and in a timely manner
  • Coach and train members of the recruitment and wider ES team on recruitment and onboarding activities
  • Support the accuracy and integrity of the all data in the Resourcelink and Optimum systems
  • Handle queries and issues being raised by users of the system and 1st line resolution of queries from managers, staff and HR on all things recruitment and onboarding related
  • Take ownership to resolve queries effectively and quickly ensuring a consistently high customer service approach and robust audit trail
  • Run and monitor weekly and monthly reports and providing feedback to People Services Manager
  • Ensure external job boards and advertising medium are used appropriately and as requested ensuring any costs are budgeted to the correct financial costings
  • Liaise with the ES Systems team to resolve and CMS technical issues
  • Assist with testing for any system enhancements or upgrades
  • Support two recruitment administrators
Experience and Skillsrequired:
  • CIPD or British Institute of Recruitment qualification or equivalent experience
  • Working experience as internal recruitment officer level
  • Working knowledge of Candidate Management Systems, ideally Resource Link
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work in an organised manner, prioritising own time to complete daily tasks to agreed standards, in a pressured environment with conflicting demands, meeting deadlines
  • Confident and courteous communicator - face to face, on the telephone and in writing
  • Excellent PC skills particularly competent in Word, Excel and Outlook
Working hours:
  • 35 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
