Job Description

Recruitment Manager opportunity available on a temporary ongoing basis for a leading public sector organisation. This role is based at their Boston Spa office and is working full time 37.5 hours per week and offers flexible working hours and hybrid / homeworking.In this role you will train, support and coach the Employee Services Recruitment & Administration team to enable accurate and timely processing. To deliver systems and processes which offer a good customer experience based on a right first time approach.Use the quality of the solutions and service as a platform to drive changes in behaviours towards a self-service and paperless culture. To provide expert advice to Employee Services to deliver effective and efficient employee lifecycle processes.Main areas of responsibility in the role:

  • Take ownership of effective, timely and accurate administration of the Employee Services processes and workflows
  • Take ownership of employee and admin process such as recruitment, time recording and contractual matters, within a high volume and high pressure environment.
  • Take ownership of HR and employee admin processes to ensure accurate data capture and data sharing with 3rd party service providers and employee issue resolution.
  • Ensure effective, timely and customer oriented resolution of admin queries and changes.
  • Lead by example and foster a culture of continuous improvement and evaluation of processes and procedures in order to improve them, ensuring best practice and reduction of errors and waste.
  • Manage the provision of accurate and timely information to staff on Recruitment and Employee Services Administration matters.
  • Maintain detailed HR admin knowledge and ensuring our systems are configured to support and deliver these activities in the most effective way and remain up-to-date.
  • Provide feedback into the evaluation of options, risks and impacts for all proposed developments which have system, process and regulatory implications including compliance with external bodies.
  • Own the day to day relationships with 3rd party service providers for payroll and pensions transactional processing.
  • Own the day to day relationships with internal stakeholders - from employee end user through to finance and HR.
  • Work as an expert in projects providing expert knowledge and guidance on ES Admin/Recruitment matters, turning actions into deliverable BAU activities.
