Join one of the largest providers of healthcare staff in the UK!We work with a number of organisations who are leading the way in supporting people with mental health, learning disabilities, austism and challenging behaviours. We provide support staff to supported living projects, residential homes, secure units, hospitals and care homes in and around Stoke-on-Trent.If youre an experienced Support Worker, looking for a new challenge and the opportunity to gain valuable experience in revolutionary best practice, then we would love to hear from you. The rewards of being a Support Worker here* Weekly pay - £8.21-£10.50 p/hr* Holiday pay* Flexible hours* Free DBS* Specialist training providedWhat to expectWith a unique approach to mental health support work, you will be working with a wider support network; healthcare professionals and service users family members to support them with every day living. You will have an in depth understanding of the recovery principles in mental health, and experience of working with autism and challenging behaviours. Being able to provide positive experiences are essential, and the ability to work as part of a team, as well as on a one to one basis. Patience, good communication and listening skills are important. What youll needA minimum of 6 months experience working within a similar setting. Youll be 100% committed to the needs of the person with previous experience as a Support Worker.
