Job Description

RenEnergy has over 15 years of experience in the renewable energy market. We believe technologyis the solution in making a positive change, being strongly committed to making a difference in the fight against climate change for generations to come with innovative solutions.We require an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day to day Operations Department for the delivery of renewable technologies working closely with the Technical Director and Financial Controller to manage the business in line with its strategicgoals for the delivery of projects.We are a small team and the role will take on a hands-on perspective, therefore the appointee will need experience in managing projects, leadership, engineering, electrical or construction knowledge, O&M, both planned and reactive. The work will consistof largely commercial contracts. It will comprise of overseeing, managing and being accountable for the continuous improvement of all aspects of operations strategy, installation, process and procedures, delivery of renewable energy technologies predominantlySolar carports and roof and ground photovoltaic systems, battery backup, and EV chargers. We also provide consultancy services and are renewable partners with blue-chip companies. The objective is to communicate and manage the operations in line with the companysvision and values within budget.Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the management of the operations team.
  • Work in close liaison with the Financial Controller to forward plan renewable technology delivery schedules.
  • Ensure that operational and project risks/issues are identified and health and safety process and procedure are robust.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by promoting the highest standards of service delivery and workmanship
  • Build, train and develop a suitably skilled and experienced team of operations staff.
  • Provide and assist the Sales teams with tenders and quotes with technical advice.
  • Develop and manage professional relationships with key suppliers.

  • Communication skills -A need to be professional, assertive, persuasive and communicate in the appropriate way at all times.
  • Experience of People Management with an engineering, electrical or construction background.
  • Commercial awareness - financial and budgetary control.
  • Organisational skills - the ability to develop, prioritise and deliver work objectives.
  • Project Management skills - comprehensive scope, risk, issues and delivery management.
  • PRINCE2 Qualification
  • NEBOSH Qualification
  • Educated to degree level is desirable.
Salary commensurate with experience
