Job Description

We are a family run business that has been operating since 2004. We are seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join us. The ideal candidate will be , knowledgeable, very well organised, positive, enthusiastic, and interested in supporting the Directorsthrough sound financial management. Experience of Budgeting and Forecasting
Full Management Accounts analysis and presentation
Project Costing experience
Profit and Loss Accounts compilation
Good understanding and use of I.T Systems and high level of knowledge of Information Technology
Vast experience in accounts payable processes and credit control
Production of monthly management accounts including accruals, prepayments, and depreciation
Approving and processing company payments to suppliers
Budgeting and month-end forecasting
Dealing with working capital management and production of cash flow forecasts.
Preparing payroll, VAT and HMRC processes.
Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems - while acting as the first point of contact for external auditors.
Knowledge of international payments systems, FX
Other office duties as required

The Person:

ACCA Certified accountancy Technician (AAT Equivalent)
High level of numeracy, written and spoken English
Excellent management skills (essential)
Good communication and presentation skills
Able to use own initiative, adaptable and enthusiastic in approach
Excellent staff motivation and development skills
Enjoys challenges and working to identify and implement new solutions
