Job Description

CNC Programmer required for a manufacturing company specialising in aerospace, oil and gas, Formula One and other motorsport Industries. Based in Bristol - BS30, near Longwell Green. Full time, permanent role, start ASAP.

  • £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Salary review after end of probation period
  • Monday to Thursday 7.30-4pm and Friday 7.30am -12.30pm.
  • 25 days holiday per annum plus Bank Hols
  • Health benefit scheme
  • Accessible by bus 45
  • Adjacent to Bristol-Bath cycle path
  • Free parking on site
  • Full training on specific machinery will be provided
About the job
  • Producing CNC programs to engineering specifications/drawings
  • Working with a Mixture of 3, 4 and 5 Axis Milling Machines
  • Interpret engineering data to determine the most efficient manufacturing process.
  • Define necessary tooling required
  • Working closely with cross functional teams to solve critical machining issues
  • Setting up machining centres for first off prove out when required
The right candidate
  • CAD/CAM Experience on Catia or Edgecam
  • CNC programming experience (+3 years)
  • IT literate including MS Office
  • Ability to interpret technical data including drawings, specifications, and 3D models
  • Familiar with FANUC/Heidenhain controls
  • A candidate proficient in Catia or Edgecam in both programming and fixture designing would command higher annual salary
