Job Description

Pertemps Recruitment require a temporary Mailroom Assistant on a part time basis, to join a leading client in the Bishopbriggs area.Working for a Facilities Manager provider, you will be placed on site with one of their clients, who are a major contact centre. Hours of work will be Monday - Friday, 1pm - 5pm. Rate of pay will be £9.50 per hour.Duties/Responsibilities;

  • Checking generic inbox for actionable mail
  • Processing any remaining internal mail for the day
  • Processing Royal mail recorded deliveries
  • Scanning any volume of mail to the teams that remain from the morning shift
  • Manifest Royal Mail, Recorded, Relay, and UKMAIL
  • Updating the M.I to reflect the daily figures
  • Cleaning down and setting up of the mail room for the next day
    • Skills/Experience required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to achieve agreed deadlines
  • Able to work well as part of a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • PC literate and competent in Microsoft Word / Excel
  • Previous experience of onsite services (mailroom, repro, archiving, print and enclosure) is preferred
  • Professional appearance and business-like manner
