MTrecs New Opportunity;MTrec Technical are proudly representing our Prestigious Engineering Client, based in Birtley, with their recruitment needs. They are looking to appoint a permanent Small Works Project Manager to join their team and organisation. A successful candidate willbe responsible for leading various teams, including the technical teams to ensure delivery of the right outcomes for customers, ensuring projects and production are carried out to time, specification, and budget, together with responsibility for implementationof quality assurance, and safe working practices.   • Manage, co-ordinate and support all small works projects from enquiry stage to customer sign off.
  • Managing relationships and negotiations with large project clients such as Nissan, McAlpine, etc. by, estimating and project managing works, in order to ensure programmes are technically sound, on time, scale and to budget.
  • To provide accurate planning and methodology when required for any sub contracted work.
  • Design, develop and maintain product specification manual for use by purchasing administration teams.
  • Establish effective relationship with professional bodies (RIBA, RICS, CIOB etc.) to showcase as a supplier and provider of services, by conducting presentations, masterclasses, and guest speaking, at professional events.
  • Responsible for fulfilling the following month end activity; Stock Adjustments, Checking stock movement, Check all necessary sales orders are invoiced, Trial rebate, Check and update rebate claim, Check returned rebate from Catnic, Calculate WIP.
  • Responsible for fulfilling the following year end activity; Organising stock takes, Stock provisions, Provide stock take sheets to auditors, Make stock provision adjustments in Sage, Check stock provisions have been implemented correctly in the accounts.
  • Developing quality systems in order to deliver efficiencies, right first time projects, and product development.
  • Liaise with the Installation Manager and design team in order to set realistic and timely project dates.
About You;
  • Level 5/6 in an Engineering Discipline OR Experience in a relevant business area - Essential.
  • A relevant Quality Management qualification (PRINCE2) - Desirable.
  • Experience in CAD Systems.
  • Experience in Lean Practices.
  • Experience in Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience within a Project Management/Similar role previously.
