Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Factory Labourer to work within a manufacturing facility in Birtley.The role involves:

Supporting the manufacturing team with the preparation of materials
Measuring out materials in preparation for manufacturing
Use of Manual Handling Equipment for the movement of raw materials (manually and with the use of FLT)
Following specific instructions for different types of products
Working to daily targets

This does require manually lifting so applicants must be physically fit. There will also be a requirement to use a Fork Lift Truck, training will be provided.The role will involve working on a three shift pattern 6.00am-2.00pm, Monday to Friday 2.00pm-10.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00pm-6.00am Sunday to Thursday. You will also be required to work Saturday when you are on the 6.00am-2.00pm shift. (One in every3 weeks)This is a permanent position with a Salary of £28,292.36 this includes all shift allowances.Essential Attributes:

Good numerical skills as you will be working with numbers for measurements
Physically fit

Desired Experience:

Previous use of a fork lift truck or a ForkLift license is highly advantageous
