Birtley Group is committed to continuous improvement and modernisation, the guiding principle being “Good to Great”, encouraging innovation and dynamism.Following an internal promotion, there is a need to hire a Finance Director, with the previous incumbent moving to the Managing Director position.The RoleAs the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the strategy, supporting growth and acting as a Business Partner to the Leadership Team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll be responsible for financial oversight, governance,and driving operational efficiencies.The RequirementsSuitable candidates are likely to have manufacturing experience, an appreciation for standard costings, product profitability and operational efficiencies. Prior ERP implementation useful too. Birtley are looking for a natural and visible relationship builderwho can collaborate with cross-functional teams. Attention to detail a priority, candidates will be numerically astute and able to handle complex financial data.
