Job Description

The Company MTrec Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Production Operative in the Birtley area. We are looking for candidates who want to work in a manufacturing environment.The Role

  • Sporking activities - ensuring sporks are securely placed into relevant packaging
  • End of line packing - fast moving thermoforming machines
  • Product packaging and inspection
  • Movement of pallets as required
  • Maintaining work to quality and hygiene standards
  • Production of box, bag labels and production documentation
  • Verify compliance of product using approved quality procedures
  • Responsible for own and others Health and Safety within the Thermoforming environment
  • Granulation of material
  • Participation in Health and Safety and hygiene Audits
  • General housekeeping duties
The Person
  • A positive attitude and are willing to learn more skills on the job.
  • Confidence on the job and are happy to take on more responsibility if necessary.
  • Experience in working in a factory environment (Full training will be provided)

  • 06:00am - 14:10pm
  • 14:00pm - 22:10pm
  • 22:00pm - 06:10am
The Pay
  • £9.80 starting rate.
  • £10.00 after 4-weeks
After 12 weeks
  • £10.22 without banked hour contract
  • £10.40 with banked hour contracts
