Job Description

Reed Engineering & Construction are delighted to be working with a large and well recognised employer who are seeking to employ an Yardman / Labourer on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a full time position and the successful candidate will be offered a contract with an employer who will give a long lasting career.Some of your key duties will include:

  • keep yard tidy and organised at all times.
  • liaise with profile burners constantly and have steel plates ready for next job to hand.
  • Mark plates with correct ID numbers.
  • locate finished profiled items in the correct location.
  • Ensure production have all parts required
  • Keep fabrication shed clean at all times (swept and bins emptied)
  • Help with paining activities as and when required.
