Job Description

Experienced Line Borer required to operate lathes and milling stations wanted for our client in Birtley,£11.18 per hour PAYE 40 hours per week.

  • Responsible for ensuring line boring and machining activities are carried out with a high degree of safety, accuracy and professionalism. Additionally, you will be performing a range of maintenance, fitting, and machining tasks.
  • Operating line boring equipment and general machine tools including associated fitting and welding activities both in shop and the field in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the clients Health and Safety Standards;
  • Liaising with the Work Shop Manager machine shop to receive and assess work orders;
  • Participating in regular safety and risk management activities;
  • Reporting all safety events, risks and hazards; and
  • Operating manual lathes, mills, drills and other associated machinery.
