Job Description

About the roleWe have a great opportunity for an Office Administrator for our Kerry site in Birstwith, near Harrogate, North Yorkshire.The Office Administrator role in Kerry Birstwith is multifaceted and every day will be different. You will be a face of the site, greeting visitors and helping with all sorts of enquires. You will support employees with time management queries andwork closely with Payroll Team to adjust the clock in and out times. You also will be supporting purchases of materials, PPE, stationary etc. the office and site.In our Kerry Birstwith site, we have a long history of producing variety of products ranging from flour to rusk, mostly using locally grown wheat. We operate across 4 integrated plants, which were built in place of an original 19th Century flour mill.This role will be ideal for someone with office management experience, great computer skills and who is open to new experiences.   • Meeting, greeting and induction of visitors and contractors.
  • Managing purchase orders for site via Coupa (utilities, PPE, hygiene, waste management, printers, stationery, etc.).
  • Updating wage systems and supporting hourly paid employees in time management queries.
  • Playing a leading role in site communications and My Community initiatives.
What do I need to be successful
  • Basic qualifications in Math, English and other general studies.
  • Computer literate (MS Office required, SAP, Coupa, Clockwise or similar software experience beneficial)
  • Good time management
  • Great teamwork skills
  • Approachable, engaging, and proactive
