About the roleCome and join our forward-thinking team as Maintenance Technicianbased at our Birstwith site which is situated near Harrogate.This is a small site with a family feel in a picturesque part of the country. The site boasts a great production team with proactive positive people.Thisis a permanent role with a shift pattern of:

Week 1 - 6.00am - 2.00pm - Monday - Friday
Week 2 - 2.00pm - 10.00pm - Monday to Friday
Every 4th week on call + Call out allowance + Overtime
Paid overtime x 1.5 Monday to Friday x 2 Saturday, Sunday & Bank holidays
No nights
Paid holiday 25 days + Bank holidays (unless on call covered by a rota system)

Carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance to all site plant and equipment.
Resolving equipment failures and carrying out planned and unplanned engineering tasks in a responsive and effective manner.
Adherence to Safety Health & Environmental policies and procedures and carry out all tasks in a safe and controlled manner.
Pro-active team working with peers, production, quality and support groups to improve equipment reliability and performance.
Repairing and maintaining equipment so as to provide best possible equipment available for delivering production and business needs.
Taking personal account for providing a responsive and effective service.
Actively support engineering improvements and changes to maintain and enhance their competitive edgewith the group of companies and business competitors.

What do I need to be successful

Respond to breakdowns, systematically fault find, and identify root cause and then implement solution to prevent recurrence.

Carry out planned maintenance and identify continuous improvements to increase equipment efficiency.

Be able to make decisions on quick fix/permanent solutions.Be able to prioritisewhen managing multiple requests for engineering support.</
