There is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Planner to join a global leading, Tier 1 construction company that has over 116,000 employees but still keeps their family values and maintains an intimacy with their employees.The RoleAs a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for the planning function on medium to large tenders and sites involving complex and detailed analysis of large volumes of information. You will ensure that the optimum sequence to deliver the project is reflectedin the programme and you will mentor and develop other members of the planning team and undertake high level review of other planners work.You will produce fully linked Project Programme for site, tender, or pre-qualification purposes to identify critical path, float, risk and opportunity. You will instigate and undertake what-if scenarios and report their projected outcomes, collaborate withother company staff to ensure that works are planned and organised, challenge and verify suppliers and sub-contractors programme and methodology, determine the requirements for site set-up and independently prepare phasing, logistics and time-slices alongwith associated methodology/narratives as required by the tender deliverables.A successful candidate will have experience in training and developing junior planners, will ensure that client reporting requirements are always met and effectively manage Total Costs with the commercial team.Whats in it for youYou will benefit from a competitive salary of £64,000 - £69,000 and have an opportunity to work on exciting projects.
