Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an amazing role for an Assistant Commercial Accountant.This role would suit an ambitious individual who is looking to build on their experience while continuing with their qualifications. Within this position there will be lots of opportunity to shadow the experienced, qualified Commercial Accountant and tailoryour development around your skillset and ability.You will work closely with the Commercial Accountant and assist with the production of forecasts, budgets and monthly reporting. You will also be given significant responsibility as you will be processing and reconciling journal inputs into the monthly managementaccounts. As you find your feet within the business you will be given more responsibility - becoming solely responsible for the business partnering of different entities within the business.Ideally, you will:

  • Be AAT or degree qualified with the intention of continuing with your studies. Our client will be particularly impressed by candidates who have began their ACCA/ CIMA journey.
  • Have excellent communication skills as this role will see you regularly liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Be a hard-working individual, with proven experience working with high volumes and against strict deadlines.
  • Be competent in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft packages such as Word and PowerPoint.
